Round Church inaugural act
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural ceremony of the Round Church in Convent of the Order of Christ in Tomar, which had been submitted to restoration work made possible due to entrepreneurial patronage of the arts.
A speech was then delivered by the President Cavaco Silva, in which he challenged companies to take on the refurbishment of national monuments that require restoration work.
