Route to Heritage launched in Lower Alentejo
In the beginning of the Campaign No. 1 of the Route to Heritage, the President of the Republic officially opened and visited, in the Main Church of Santiago do Cacém, the exhibition “The Pathway under the Stars – Santiago and the Pilgrimage to Compostela”, and addressed a speech alluding to the theme of the exhibition.
Following the visit, President Cavaco Silva attended, in the same Alentejo city, the signature of the twinning agreement between Santiago do Cacém and Santiago de Compostela.
