The President of the Republic will take part, on October 18 and 19, in the XXIII Iberian-American Summit of Heads of State and of Government, to be held in Panama.
At the invitation of His Panamanian counterpart, Ricardo Martinelli, President Cavaco Silva will attend, as a special guest, the luncheon marking the closure of the Seminar of Iberian-American Entrepreneurs, which is being held in line with the Summit and where several Portuguese entrepreneurs will be present.
The President of the Republic will also avail himself of the opportunity to maintain several contacts with his Iberian-American counterparts and to visit the Panama Canal.
