The President of the Republic, in the terms of item h) of article no. 133 of the Constitution, accepted the proposal put forward today by the Prime Minister, Dr. Pedro Passos Coelho, for the appointment of the following individualities as Secretaries and Undersecretaries of State:
Assistant Secretary of State to the Deputy Prime Minister – Dr. Luis Miguel Gubert Morais Leitão
Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation – Dr. Luis Álvaro Barbosa de Campos Ferreira
Secretary of State for European Affairs - Doctor Bruno Verdial de Castro Ramos Maçães
Secretary of State for the Portuguese Communities – Dr. José de Almeida Cesário
Assistant Secretary of State for the Economy: Dr. Leonardo Bandeira de Melo Mathias
Secretary of State for Innovation, Investment and Competitiveness – Dr. Pedro Pereira Gonçalves
Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Communications – Dr. Sérgio Paulo Lopes da Silva Monteiro
Secretary of State for Tourism – Dr. Adolfo Miguel Baptista Mesquita Nunes

The President of the Republic will empower the Secretaries and Undersecretaries of State tomorrow, June 26, at 15:00 hours, in the Palace of Belém.
