The President of the Republic officially appointed today, as President of the Organizing Committee of the Commemorations of the National Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, which will be held this year in the City of Elvas, Dr. José Albino da Silva Peneda.
The President of the Republic acknowledged his appreciation on how those duties had been performed by the former President of the Committee, Prof. Doctor António Manuel Seixas Sampaio da Nóvoa.
