Exhibition “Beyond History”
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act, in Guimarães, of the Platform of Arts and Creativity, on the day of the City of Guimarães and included in the programming of the 2012 European Capital of Culture.
Having received the City’s Gold Medal from the Mayor, António Magalhães, President Cavaco Silva delivered a speech allusive to the act and the occasion.
After the inaugural ceremony, the President visited the exhibition “Beyond History”, in the José de Guimarães International Arts Centre.
