Ceremony in the Cascais Citadel
The President of the Republic presided, in Cidadela Palace, Cascais, at the award ceremony of the Prize for Entrepreneurial Innovation in the Portuguese Diaspora.
The 2012 Prize for Entrepreneurial Innovation in the Portuguese Diaspora was awarded to Isabel Santos Melo, founder of the Mentaur Group, in the United Kingdom, that provides home services to disabled adults with differing requirements.
An Honourable Mention was awarded to Cristóvão Fonseca, joint founder of a film production company and currently involved, in France, in setting up a channel for the Portuguese Diaspora.
A speech was delivered by President Cavaco Silva during the ceremony.
