Mafra Palace Library
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva accompanied the Federal President of the Republic of Austria, Dr. Heinz Fischer, and Mrs. Margit Fischer on a visit to Mafra National Palace, during which they viewed several wings of the building and its library, one of Europe’s richest, and attended, in the Basilica to a six organ musical performance.
