The President of the Republic of Serbia, Boris Tadic, will carry out an official visit to Portugal, on 26 and 27 March, at the invitation of President Aníbal Cavaco Silva.
The President of the Republic of Serbia will be received in the Palace of Belém on 26 March, by the President of the Republic, who will host a dinner in his honour, on the same day, in the Palace of the Citadel, in Cascais.
The Official Programme will also include meetings with the Speaker of Parliament and with the Prime Minister.
A ceremony will be held in the House of Parliament, on 27 March, presided by President Cavaco Silva to award the 2011 Council of Europe North-South Prizes, which will distinguish President Boris Tadic and the Tunisian journalist and human rights activist Souhayr Belhassen.
