Meeting with Corvo students
The President of the Republic travelled to Corvo Island on the fourth day of his visit to the Azores Autonomous Region.
After landing at the island’s airfield, President Anibal Cavaco Silva walked through the streets of the town, went to the basic school where he was welcomed by students and teachers, then followed to the County Hall and to the multiuse pavilion where the Mayor of Corvo hosted a luncheon.
Before departing Corvo the President of the Republic addressed a message to the People of the Azores.
