Charity competition
The President of the Republic attended, in the Vale do Lobo Ocean Golf Course, the “tee-off” of the 5th Portugal Solidarity Golf Competition. The funds collected in this event revert in favour of APATRIS 21 – Association of the Algarve Bearers of Down Syndrome.
Some 6o golfers entered the competition, representatives of the companies that contributed with funds for the support of the Association.
At the prize award ceremony, President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva handed the President of APATRIS 21, Dr. Maria Augusta Pereira, a cheque with the funds reverting in favour of the Association.
