The President of the Republic met with fifty Portuguese youth leaders, on board the training ship "Sagres", on the day he was empowered for a second mandate in office.
Invited for lunch with President Aníbal Cavaco Silva on board the emblematic tall ship of the Portuguese Navy, the young people, from all over the country, included entrepreneurs, researchers, academicians, cultural agents, and representatives of social support and volunteer organizations.
Symbolically, on the day in which he is reinvested, President Cavaco Silva appealed to the protagonism of youth in the definition of the future of Portugal, having addressed brief words to the representatives of Portuguese youth partaking of lunch with him.
