The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of journalist Carlos Pinto Coelho.
Following is the text of the message of condolences addressed by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:
"Upon being advised of the passing away of journalist Carlos Pinto Coelho, I wish to express to the bereaved Family my deepest condolences.
A communications professional with a large experience in several branches of the media, Carlos Pinto Coelho, exercised, amongst others, an important function as a discloser of facts and events pertaining to our arts and culture.
I render my tribute to a figure who, throughout decades, the Portuguese were used to see and hear in television and radio.
