The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of Academician Aníbal Pinto de Castro.
Following is the text of the message addressed by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:
"I wish to express my deep regrets for the passing away of Aníbal Pinto de Castro, an emeritus professor of Coimbra University, master of generations, humanist and exceptional bibliophile who left, through his vast work, a profound marker in contemporary Portuguese literature.
