New Research Centre
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act, in the Pedrouços Riverside Walk, the Research Centre of the Champalimaud Foundation, where he delivered a speech.
After the luncheon that followed the opening ceremony, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva awarded the António Champalimaud Vision Prize to the two winning North American researchers, J. Anthony Movshon e William T. Newsome.
