Visit to Ourique
The President of the Republic visited Ourique County, where he was welcomed in the Sousa Telles Cine-Theatre by the Mayor and presented with the Key of Honour to the Village of Ourique.
Later, the President officially opened the Kindergarten and attended the presentation of the School Centre Project.
He also visited the Jorge Sampaio Municipal Library, in which is on show an exhibition of paintings by Mozambican artists.
Following this, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva presided at the inaugural act of the Social Centre, unveiling a plaque allusive to the ceremony.
