Message of condolences addressed by the President of the Republic to the Family of author João Aguiar

The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of author João Aguiar.

Following is the text of the President’s message:

"I deeply regret the passing away of João Aguiar, an author to whom much is owed by Portuguese journalism and literature and who, through his novels, gave a relevant contribution to the dissemination of interest in our history, especially amongst the younger generations.

My heartfelt condolences are due to all his family and friends.
