Campo Maior Flowers in the Boxwood Garden
The President of the Republic opened, in the Palace of Belém, the Programme “April 25 – Commemoration of Democracy on the I Centenary of the Republic”, organized by the Museum of the Presidency, and includes several exhibitions and musical concerts open to the public.
In the Gallery of Temporary Exhibitions, in Pátio dos Bichos, the President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva viewed the exhibition ‘Marshal Spínola and the transition to Democracy’, and went on to the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic, where they visited the exhibition ‘The Presidents of Democracy’.
Later, in the Boxwood Garden, they visited the exhibition of Campo Maior Flowers, which had on show the traditional paper flowers, including red carnations.
