Following the resignation of the Government of the Madeira Autonomous Region, and after having heard the Representative of the Republic, the President of the Republic decided to call a meeting with the political parties represented in the Parliament of the Madeira Autonomous Region.
The following information was made public regarding this matter:
" The President of the Republic received today, in audience, the Representative of the Republic in the Madeira Autonomous Region, Judge of the Bench Antero Alves Monteiro Diniz, who advised the President of the result of the meetings held with the political powers of the Region, following the resignation of the Regional Government.
Within this context, the President of the Republic decided to call to a meeting the political parties represented in the Parliament of the Madeira Autonomous Region, with the respective audiences to be held next Monday, February 26, commencing at 11.15 a.m.”.
