President sends congratulatory message to Indonesian counterpart Yudhoyono upon his re-election

The President of the Republic sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, upon his re-election to office.
Following is the text of the congratulatory message of President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:
"Mister President,
On the occasion of Your Excellency’s re-election as President of the Republic of Indonesia I want to address you, in my own personal name and on behalf of the People of Portugal, our warmest congratulations and wishes for great success in the high office for which you have been chosen once more, so expressively, by the People of Indonesia.
I am certain that during Your Excellency’s mandate, the links of friendship and cooperation which bind our two countries will find new opportunities for development and deepening. Please be assured of my personal endeavour for this to come about, convinced that a closer partnership between Portugal and Indonesia corresponds to the best interests of our Peoples and Countries.
I beg you to accept, Mister President, my sincere wishes for Your Excellency’s personal well being and for the prosperity and progress of the Indonesian People.
Aníbal Cavaco Silva"
