Meeting in 10, Downing Street
The President of the Republic held a meeting with the British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, on a stopover on his way to Edinburgh, in Scotland, where he will be awarded an Honorary Master’s Degree by the Heriot-Watt University.
After the meeting, President Aníbal Cavaco Silva was driven to the Portuguese Embassy in London, where he spoke to the Portuguese journalists who had travelled with him to the United Kingdom.
