Boris Pistorius received Cavaco Silva
The President of the Republic dedicated the final day of his State Visit to the German Federal Republic to the city of Osnabrück.
Cavaco Silva and retinue were honoured by a luncheon hosted by the Mayor, Boris Pistorius, to which the President of European Parliament was also invited.
Later the President of the Republic was received in Osnabrück City Hall, in a ceremony held in the Hall of Peace where, in 1648, the Treaty of Westphalia ending the 30 Years War was signed.
