Armando Jorge honoured by the President
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva assisted at the performance of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite Ballet, a tribute paid by São Carlos National Theatre to choreographer Armando Jorge, one of the founders of the National Ballet Company.
On the occasion, President Cavaco Silva decorated Armando Jorge with the grade of Grand Officer of the Military Order of Sant’Iago da Espada.
