The President of the Republic sent a message of condolences to the widow of Arthur Sendas, an entrepreneur of Portuguese lineage, killed in Rio de Janeiro.
The text of the message is as follows
"I was greatly saddened with the news of the passing away in Rio de Janeiro of Mister Arthur Sendas, an individuality distinguished by his humane qualities and entrepreneurial capabilities.
On behalf of the people of Portugal and in my own personal name, I beg Your Excellency and all the grieving family to accept our heartfelt condolences.
