New Technological Centre
The President of the Republic opened the new S. João da Madeira Entrepreneurial and Technological Centre.
Based in the SANTOJEC building, the Centre now opened intends to “encourage the setting up of technological enterprises, diversifying the production profile of the region and becoming a privileged link between the universities and its economic and industrial base”.
It is also its intent to become another step in the “modernization and qualification of referenced sectors in this region of the Country, such as the Footwear industry”.
