Mr. and Mrs. Cavaco Silva and the Prince of Asturias enjoyed a walking tour of Oviedo
The last day of the State visit of President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva to Spain started with a brief meeting with Prince Felipe of Asturias, followed by a walking tour of the historical centre of Oviedo.
The next stage in the programme was a visit to the cathedral of the capital of the Asturias, which included a musical piece rendered by the choir and a walk round the Holy Chamber.
Later, after the a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts of the Asturias, President Cavaco Silva and Prince Felipe officially opened a painting exhibition by artist Adriana Molder, entitled “Set Encounter”.
Before their return to Lisbon, the Prince of Asturias and the local authorities presented farewell compliments, at the city’s airport, to the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva.
