Official Visit of the President of the Republic to the Holy See

The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva will carry out, on June 28 next, an Official Visit to the Holy See, during which they will be received in audience by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.

The programme also includes an audience with the Secretary of State of the Vatican, Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, who will be a guest of the President of the Republic, on the same day, at lunch in the Residence of the Portuguese Embassy with the Holy See.
