One thousandth enactment
President of the Republic, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, enacted the 1000th legislative act of his mandate.
The thousandth presidential enactment was the Decree-Law which approves the organization and the operation of the Committee of the Journalist’s Professional Charter and regulates the System of Accreditation and the Regime of Professional Duties and Incompatibilities of Journalists.
Since the beginning of his mandate, on March 6, 2006, President Cavaco Silva enacted 151 legislative acts emanating from Parliament and 849 legislative acts emanating from the Government.
