Star Tracker social network of Portuguese talent
The President of the Republic belongs, as from today, to the Star Tracker social network of Portuguese talent.
Aníbal Cavaco Silva took advantage of the possibility of contacting the Portuguese members of the network, resident in 73 countries, to send a request for the dissemination of the Entrepreneurial Innovation Prize in the Portuguese Diaspora. For the purpose he sent them the following message:
“Dear members of the Star Tracker network,
It is my belief that the strengthening of the relations between the Portuguese communities abroad and our country is in Portugal’s best interest.
With this end in view, the Entrepreneurial Innovation Prize in the Portuguese Diaspora, which intends to distinguish the contributions of Portuguese citizens residing abroad, was launched under my patronage.
As a new member of The Star Tracker, I chose to use my StarPower wish to ask you to actively take part in its dissemination in the Portuguese communities where you belong, to those of our fellow citizens you believe are deserving of such an award.
I rely on you for the first issue of this prize to become a success.”
