Official opening of the new building of the County Council
President Aníbal Cavaco Silva officially opened, in Boticas, the new County Hall building.
After the inaugural ceremony, during which he delivered a speech, the President witnessed the signing of the protocol between the Boticas County Council and the Nadir Afonso Foundation.
This was followed by the inaugural ceremony of the new building of the Boticas Educational Centre.
The President and Mrs. Cavaco Silva, assisted, after lunch with the Boticas population in the Multipurpose Building, to the traditional show “Chega de bois”.
Following the visit to Boticas, the President officially opened the Historical Repository of the Wine of the Dead, a museum located next to the area where the wine was buried during the French invasions.
