Home of BELIEF
The children who are beneficiaries of the Home of BELIEF (Association of the Parents and Friends of Children Suffering from Cancer), in Lisbon, were visited by the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva, who examined the facilities and, in a Christmas celebration, fraternized with them, their parents and the staff.
Continuing the journey of visits to social solidarity institutions in the Lisbon area, President Cavaco Silva was provided with information regarding the activities of the BELIEF Association, in the support of children suffering from cancerous diseases and their parents, and congratulated the persons responsible for the Home as well as the voluntary workers who render services to this institution.
