United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC)
The President of the Republic, on an official visit to Santiago do Chile, visited the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), where he addressed a speech to its members.
President Aníbal Cavaco Silva was received in ECLAC by the Commission’s Secretary General, José Luís Machinea, and was introduced to members of the staff of this institution of the United Nations, of which two are Portuguese nationals.
