Exhibition in Ajuda National Palace
Presidents Cavaco Silva and Vladimir Putin officially opened, in the Palace of Ajuda, the Exhibition “From Peter the Great to Nicholas II – Art and Culture of the Russian Empire in the Hermitage Collections”.
This was followed, in the throne room, by a piano concerto played by the Russian Pianist Serguei Markarov, offered by the President of the Russian Federation.
Later, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a banquet in honour of President Vladimir Putin.
During the banquet President Cavaco Silva delivered a speech.
