Christmas is a special moment for us all.
Nobody is regardless of Christmas.
Time for the family, time to stop a while to think somewhat more about those who surround us and those who are far away.
Mainly of the weaker, who demand more of our attention and of our fraternal sharing.
We all know that we are going through a very difficult period, but we cannot lose hope.
If we stand united we will overcome our difficulties.
We do not doubt that, hand in hand, we will conquer a better future.
The Portuguese people have given fine examples of solidarity, of emphasized sharing with those who have less.
These gestures enlighten our collective future.
We wish you all a Happy Christmas.
And as fair a 2013 as may be possible
