Congratulatory message addressed by the President of the Republic to Vanessa Fernandes for having been awarded the title of Triathlon World Champion

It is with great pleasure that I congratulate you for conquering the world title in the 2007 Hamburg BG Triathlon World Championships which were held today.

I am certain that your route to consolidated successive victories in sports events will be a motive of pride for all the people of Portugal. 

Please accept once more my heartiest congratulations for having known how to manage your exceptional capabilities as well as my best wishes for your personal and sports successes.
