President congratulated athlete Sara Moreira on winning the gold medal in the 3000 metre in the European Indoor Championship

The President of the Republic sent a message of congratulations to athlete Sara Moreira on winning the gold medal in the 3000 metre in the European Indoor Championship, held in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Following is the text of the message from President Cavaco Silva:

“I congratulate athlete Sara Moreira for the brilliant achievement of winning the Gold Medal in the 3000 metre competition in the European Indoor Championship, held in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This deed is a prestige for Portuguese sports and is an honour for Portugal.

Please accept my congratulations and my sincere wishes for your personal happiness and future sports achievements.
