The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, over the victims of the attempt occurred in Moscow Airport.
Following is the text of the message of condolences addressed by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:
"Mister President,
I was extremely shocked when receiving the news of the attempt carried out in the Domodedovo Moscow Airport against defenceless civilians, which deserves our strongest disavowal and aversion.
In this hour of suffering and mourning I wish to express to Your Excellency and to the families of the victims, on behalf of the People of Portugal and in my own personal name, our feelings of deepest regrets and solidarity.
