President congratulates Sporting Clube de Portugal for conquering the Challenge Cup in Handball

The President of the Republic addressed a congratulatory message to Sporting Clube de Portugal for having won the Challenge Cup in Handball.

Following is the text of the message addressed by President Aníbal Cavaco Silva:

"I congratulate Sporting Clube de Portugal for having conquered the first European trophy for Portuguese handball when winning the Challenge Cup.

Due to its novelty and significance, the deed undeniably contributed to enriching the record books of National Sportsmanship.
