Message of congratulations addressed by the President of the Republic to athletes Teresa Portela and Joana Vasconcelos for the Gold Medal in the Canoe World Cup

The President of the Republic addressed a message of congratulations to Teresa Portela e Joana Vasconcelos, for winning the gold medal in the Canoe World Cup.

Following is the text of the message addressed by the President:

"I congratulate athletes Teresa Portela and Joana Vasconcelos for having conquered the World Cup in the 200 meter competition of the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup, held in Vichy, France. The achievement of the two athletes is an honour for national Sports:

Aníbal Cavaco Silva"
