Message of condolences addressed to His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg from the President of the Portuguese Republic

I was deeply desolated upon receiving the distressing news of the passing away of Her Royal Highness Princess Marie-Adelaide of Luxembourg, Aunt of Your Royal Highness.

In this hour of sadness I wish to extend to Your Royal Highness, on behalf of the Portuguese People, in my own name and in that of my Wife, our deepest condolences and profound regrets.

Please accept, Royal Highness, the expression of our greatest friendship and consideration.
