President of the Republic sends condolences to King Albert II of Belgium for the victims of the railway accident in Hal

The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to King Albert II of Belgium in respect of the victims of the railway accident occurred in Hal.

Following is the text of the message:

"Majesty,

It was with great sadness that I learnt the news of the large number of victims caused by the serious railway accident occurred in Hal.

I wish to address Your Majesty, on behalf of the People of Portugal and in my own personal name, our deepest regrets, requesting that you would be so kind as to forward to the families in mourning our deepest condolences and feelings of solidarity.
