The President of the Republic addressed a message of condolences to the Family of Rosa Lobato de Faria.
Following is the text of the President’s message:
"It is with deep sorrow that, on behalf of the People of Portugal and in my wife’s and my own personal names, I address our heartfelt condolences to the Family of Rosa Lobato de Faria, a notable figure which has gone from us today and to whose memory I pay my most sincere tribute.
Rosa Lobato de Faria decisively stamped our artistic life and was greatly admired by the public. I am certain that her name will forever remain associated to television, to the cinema and to the literature of the last decades.
