Welcoming ceremony
At the beginning of his Official Visit to Portugal, King Filipe VI held a meeting, in the Palace of Belém, with President Cavaco Silva.
Students visited Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Officers of the Entrepreneurial Association for Social Inclusion (EPIS), following which he held a meeting with students participating in the Project “Callings of the Future” .
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Portuguese Ambassador in Croatia, Júlio Vilela.
Meeting in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic presided at the meeting of the Council of State, the agenda for which was “Economic, social and political situation, following the completion of the Adjustment Programme, and the 2014-2020 Partnership Agreement between Portugal and the European Union for Structural Funds”.

The President of the Republic presided at the ceremony of the Award of National Pantheon Honours to Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, where he addressed a speech.
Cascais Citadel Palace
The President of the Republic of Mozambique and his Wife hosted an acknowledgement luncheon in honour of the President of the Republic, held in the Cascais Citadel Palace.
Palace of Ajuda
On the occasion of the visit to Portugal of the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza, and Mrs. Maria da Luz Guebuza, the President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva hosted a dinner in Ajuda National Palace, at the beginning of which President Cavaco Silva and his Mozambican counterpart delivered speeches.

Beginning the visit he is holding to Portugal, the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza, held a meeting with President Cavaco Silva.
The President of the Republic of Mozambique, Armando Guebuza, and his Wife, Mrs. Maria da Luz Guebuza, will visit Portugal from 1 to 3 July, at the invitation of President Cavaco Silva.
The President of the Republic called a meeting of the Council of State, in the terms of the second part of item e) of article no. 145 of the Constitution.
The meeting will be held on 3 July 2014, at 17:30 hours, and the topic on the agenda will be “Economic, social and political situation, following the completion of the Adjustment Programme and with regard to the 2014-2020 Partnership Agreement between Portugal and the European Union relative to the Structural Funds”.
