With a visit to the Portuguese Footwear Technology Centre, the President of the Republic concluded, in S. João da Madeira 3rd Campaign of the Route to a Dynamic Economy, dedicated to the footwear industry.
Ceremony in Guimarães
The President of the Republic promoted, in Guimarães, a tribute paying ceremony to the Footwear Industry, and decorated several of the sector’s entrepreneurs.

The President of the Republic commenced, in Pedroso, Vila Nova de Gaia, with a visit to the company Procalçado, the 3rd Campaign of his Route to a Dynamic Economy, totally dedicated to the Footwear industry.

The President of the Republic received, in audience, Ambassador Carlos José de Pinho e Melo Pereira Marques, whom he decorated with the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit.
The President of the Republic carries out, next Friday, 14 November, the 3rd journey of the Route to a Dynamic Economy, totally dedicated to the footwear industry, which will be held in the north of the country.
Audience in the Palace of Belém
The President of the Republic received, in audience, the Standing Committee of the study carried out for the programme “Talent Transforming Portugal”, which made a presentation of its results.

The President of the Republic travelled to the County of Estremoz, where he visited the Cellars of Tiago Cabaço Wines and the Palace of the Marquisate of Praia e Monforte.
The President of the Republic visited the No. 3 Cavalry Regiment, in Estremoz, during his presence in this Alentejo County.
In the Almshouse Social Village
The President of the Republic travelled to the County of Borba, where he viewed the “New Wine Cellar”, the new unit of the local Wine Cellars, and visited the Social Village of the Holy Almshouse of this Alentejo city.
