End of Iberian American Summit
The President of the Republic ended his participation in the Iberian American Summit of Heads of State and of Government, held in Veracruz, Mexico, with a press conference in which he was joined by the Prime Minister, Dr. Passos Coelho and by the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs, Dr. Rui Machete.
Youth in focus
On the second day of the XXIV Iberian American Summit of Heads of State and of Government, the leaders of this Community debated the importance of innovation in their countries’ development processes.
Meeting in Veracruz
Beyond the programme of the XXIV Iberian American Summit of Heads of State and of Government, in which he is taking part in Veracruz, Mexico, the President of the Republic held a meeting with his Chilean counterpart, Michelle Bachelet.
President’s Speech
The President of the Republic delivered an address at the First Plenary Session of the Iberian American Summit which is being held in Vera Cruz, Mexico, where the debating themes were “Education & Culture”.
XXIV Iberian American Summit
The President of the Republic attended, in the Vera Cruz Mexican resort, the Inaugural Session of the XXIV Iberian American Summit.
Portuguese in Mexico
Upon the occasion of his participation in the XXIV Iberian American Summit of Heads of State and of Government, which is being held in the Mexican resort of Vera Cruz, the President of the Republic met with members of the Portuguese Community resident in Mexico.
The data base “Addresses by Presidents of the Republic”, set up with the objective to bring together and provide access to the speeches of the Portuguese Heads of State since the Republic was proclaimed, will be available online as from 5 December instant.
Serralves Foundation decorated
The President of the Republic presided, in Porto, at the Closing Session of the Meeting of the Founder’s Board of Serralves Foundation, upon the celebration of its 25th anniversary, during which he addressed a speech.
Visiting “Casa da Companhia”
The President of the Republic visited the Youth Foundation, in “Casa da Companhia”, Porto, upon the celebration of its 25th anniversary, met with young entrepreneurs who made presentations of their projects, incubated in the Foundation, and attended a session allusive to the event, during which he delivered an address.
The President of the Republic will promote, to be carried out in May 2015, an International Conference under the theme “Portugal and Youth – New Trends, Further Hope”, included in his Routes to the Future initiative.
