Armando Jorge honoured by the President
The President of the Republic and Mrs. Cavaco Silva assisted at the performance of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite Ballet, a tribute paid by São Carlos National Theatre to choreographer Armando Jorge, one of the founders of the National Ballet Company.
Meeting in Guincho
The President of the Republic received the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitri Medvedev, for a meeting and dinner, also attended by the Prime Minister and the Minister of State and Foreign Affairs. The meeting was held in Fortaleza do Guincho Hotel, in Cascais.
Meeting in Penha Longa
The President of the Republic took part, in Penha Longa, Sintra, in the meeting of the III Council for Globalization of COTEC Portugal.
Dinner in Ajuda
The President of the Republic hosted a dinner, held in the Palace of Ajuda, to the participants in the III Meting of the Council for Globalization, which is being held tomorrow in the Penha Longa Monastery, in Sintra.
Prize awarding session
The President of the Republic presided at the Closing Session of the 2nd Meeting of the COTEC SME Innovation Network, which was held in the Oriente Museum, during which he addressed a speech.
Visiting the Fair
The President of the Republic attended, in the Lisbon International Fair complex, the opening of the 8th edition of Contemporary Art Fair "Arte Lisboa".
