The President of the Republic visited, in Sever do Vouga, the company A. Silva Matos, Metalomecânica, SA, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary, and viewed the exhibition of products manufactured by the companies belonging to the Group with that same name.
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural acts, in Leirosa, Figueira da Foz, of the investments carried out in the CELBI facilities, a company belonging to the Altri Group. During the ceremony the President addressed a speech.
The President of the Republic requested today from the Constitutional Court the supervision of the constitutionality of the contents of article No. 1 of Law No. 11/2010, dated 15 June, which decreed a new Income Tax rate, and of article No. 1 of Law No. 12-A/2010, dated 30 June, which approved a set of additional measures of budgetary consolidation.

The President of the Republic promoted, in the Palace of Belém, an Encounter with Young Portuguese Chefs, in a gesture of public recognition of the importance of these professionals, who have provided relevant added values to the Country and helped to promote Portugal in foreign parts. Approximately 50 chefs were present in the event.
