Award of Innovation prizes
The President of the Republic presided, in the Culturgest Auditorium, Lisbon, at the Closing Session of the 12th National COTEC Innovation Meeting.
During the Session 25 new members of the SME Innovation Network were presented, and the COTEC SME Innovation and Innovatory Product Prizes awarded.
The current and former COTEC chairmen then joined in the payment of a tribute to President Cavaco Silva who, throughout his two mandates, had provided important backing to this Association, whose calling is the promotion of Innovation, and had attended 45 of its initiatives.
President Cavaco Silva delivered an address at the encounter.
