The President of the Republic of Peru, Ollanta Humala, will hold an Official Visit to Portugal on 19 November, at the invitation of President Cavaco Silva.
The visit’s official programme will start with the laying of a wreath by President Ollanta Humala on the tomb of Luis Vaz de Camões, in Jerónimos Monastery. President Ollanta Humala will then be received in the Palace of Belém by the President of the Republic, followed by a working meeting between the two Heads of State ending with lunch.
On the afternoon of the same day, President Ollanta Humala will be received by the Speaker of the Portuguese Parliament and later hold a working meeting with the Prime Minister.
During his visit, the President of the Republic of Peru will take part in an Encounter with Portuguese entrepreneurs, where business opportunities will be approached, as well as strategies for the strengthening of entrepreneurial cooperation between both countries.
