New facilities in Nation’s Park
The President of the Republic presided at the inaugural act of the new headquarters of Microsoft Portugal, virtually unveiling an allusive plaque and later attending a presentation of the company and of its activities in the Country.
After the exhibition of an institutional video, the President of Microsoft International, Steve Ballmer, in a recorded message addressed to President Aníbal Cavaco Silva and to the remaining guests, underlined the company’s commitment to Portugal. The General Manager of Microsoft’s subsidiary, Claudia Goya, also referred Microsoft’s endeavours and investment in Portugal.
A speech was then delivered by the President of the Republic, after which he visited the company’s several working and exhibition areas, and finally digitally signed the company’s Book of Honour.
